Sawaare Sabke Sapne Preeto

Set in the picturesque north Indian town of Amritsar, which is also an Indian Airforce base, this is the story of the quirky yet lovable Dhillon family which now resides in a run-down mansion having moved to India from Pakistan after the Partition, a generation ago. In many ways the Dhillon family is a typical lower middle class Indian family. At the head of the family is retired school master Gangandeep Dhillon who lives with his wife, Kanwal and not one or two but 5 daughters! The eldest daughter is called Meeta, followed by Ishmeet, then Preeto, Bani and the youngest is Sonu.
